new work produced this week, with the saltmarsh at Thornham on the north Norfolk coast, once again as my main inspiration…
acrylic/mixed media on canvas, 60x80cm
Four recent experimental abstract works…mixed-media on panel, each 40x30cm.
Not sure what titles to use yet, so provisionally I’m referring to them as ‘Moorings 1 – 4’.
I enjoyed playing around with the balance of flowing muslin, taut string and stained tissue on a heavily textured background.
I’ll probably end up giving them a completely abstract title as I prefer viewers to be allowed to interpret them as they will.
Feedback appreciated as until now I haven’t produced much completely abstract work. Although I’ve been moving towards it for sometime. Thanks.
