a winter eye…

a few recent textured, mixed-media works completed in the winter months of 2011…

after all the festivities and family commitments of Christmas I’ll be glad to get back to my easel again. A happy and peaceful 2012 to you all…

… may your winter eye be graced with stimulating images, wherever you encounter them.

    • Happy New Year to you two too! and thanks for the response again Elaine…
(I’m champing at the bit to get on with painting since the festivities but keep getting halted due to hosting the grandkids while dawn finishes her move to norfolk!) xx

  1. ‘Hidden Valley’ really speaks to me, you’ve captured the sense of life lying dormant in the earth, the red tones are like beating hearts. I’d love to see your take on this place in Springtime.

  2. I greatly admire them all, my least favourite is ‘blue field’ but I would still be very happy to hang it on my wall.
I wish you a peaceful and successful new year.

    • Thanks Katie – it’s fascinating to see how people respond to different works… and very encouraging & useful feedback for me too.
I appreciate your taking the time to look : )

      • I agree, Mari. I find it very interesting to see how different people respond to my photographs and what people like.

Still loving the winter one. It just feels good for me. So serene. Maybe I need that in my life. 🙂

    • cheers sam. I’ve been indecisive about these for a while now (are they finished or not) so I thought I’d put them up on the blog for feedback. thanks for that x
